Campaign Description
Chicane 8 is a private luxury car vault and members-only club. We send transactional SMS notifications exclusively to paying members who have explicitly opted in via the member portal. Messages include vehicle check-in and check-out alerts, appointment and reservation confirmations, invoice notifications, and club event announcements. No marketing or promotional messages are sent. All recipients are active members with accounts in our private portal.
How do end users opt in? (Call to Action)
End users opt in through two explicit touchpoints on the Chicane 8 private member portal (https://4eeaf83d-8967-4f77-bfaf-d87c0da63c77-00-3nerowxryly06.riker.replit.dev). First: when a new member accepts their invitation link, the account setup page displays an optional mobile phone number field. Immediately below it is a checkbox the user must check before their phone number is accepted. The checkbox label reads: "I agree to receive recurring SMS notifications from Chicane 8, including vehicle check-in/out alerts, reservation confirmations, invoices, and club announcements. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help." The form programmatically blocks submission if a phone number is entered without this box being checked. Second: existing members who add a phone number in their profile settings see the identical consent checkbox before the number is saved. In both cases an opt-in confirmation SMS is sent automatically the moment consent is recorded.
Message Flow (What messages will be sent?)
Opted-in members receive the following message types, all of which are transactional and triggered by real events in the member portal: (1) Opt-in confirmation — sent once immediately when a member provides consent. (2) Vehicle check-in alert — sent when staff log a member's stored vehicle as checked in to the vault. (3) Vehicle check-out alert — sent when staff log a member's vehicle as checked out. (4) Reservation confirmation — sent when a member books a lounge, showroom, or other club appointment. (5) Reservation cancellation — sent when a booking is cancelled. (6) Invoice notification — sent when a new invoice is posted to the member's account. (7) Club bulletin or event — sent when an admin posts a club-wide announcement or calendar event. (8) Member invitation — a one-time portal setup link sent to a new member's phone at the time of invitation. No message type is promotional. Message frequency is low and event-driven (typically 2–6 messages per member per month). Every message body ends with or includes opt-out instructions. Members can reply STOP at any time to be removed from all future messages.
